Sandpiper

Sandpiper became the 2019 winner in the Classic Sail category at the GWBS just days after her launching at Wild Dunes Marina in Isle Of Palms, SC last year.   Built by Mark and Coulson Bayne, she has a traditional workboat exterior finish and a lovely, yacht-y interior for ease of maintenance and maximum aesthetic appeal.  She is one of Ted Brewer’s most famous Catboat designs.  Sandpiper’s current homeport is Nashville, Tennessee.   Her owner is singer-songwriter Richard Leigh.
