WoodenBoat Magazine's Forum: great pics & posts from the 2011 show

I stumbled upon WoodenBoat Magazine's WoodenBoat Forum while doing an internet search for the GWBS.  I sure enjoyed reading the appreciative comments and  looking at all the amazing photos (lots and lots of photos) from last year's show.

"Yesterday we went to the Wooden Boat Show in Georgetown, South Carolina. It was a good visit. Georgetown is a lovely place. Part of the street was blocked off for exhibitors, and there a lot of them, and people. I was especially pleased to meet John Merritt, Traditional Small Craft Association, and his friend and fellow boat builder, Nielson Wilcinson. They had sailed the day before from Charlestown in John's Egret, double ended sharpie, built from Rauel Parker's plans. It was the boat's maiden voyage and they said it was FAST!"
